Kingsley Gbadegesin, aka K.

NGSLEY, is a fashion designer championing the ‘Black, queer, femme and trans’ community, attracting praise from Paper Magazine and Women's Wear Daily following the launch of his debut line of sustainable, gender non-conforming tank tops. The New York based designer built upon his experience in fashion to create the line, having previously held marketing and wholesale roles at Versace, Celine and Loewe, but it was his background in activism which pushed him to create items that celebrate Black queer trans bodies. Before turning his hand to design, Gbadegesin founded the grassroots organisation On The Ground, which supports protestors as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.
